I would suggest contacting your veterinarian. If you have been treating her and the rain rot is not subsiding, it may be some other skin problem that may require systemic as well as topical treatment.

My horse has severe rain rot and we have been treating it with rubbing iodine. The scabs are along her neck, back and hips, are about one inch in diameter and are not drying up. What do you suggest?
