The AgrAbility Project assists people involved in production agriculture who work both on small and large operations. They are eligible for AgrAbility services if they have any type of disability – physical, cognitive, or illness-related, including:
• Amputations
• Back pain
• Cancer
• Cerebral palsy
• Diabetes
• Multiple sclerosis
• Post-polio syndrome
• Spinal cord injury
• Traumatic brain injuries
• Arthritis
• Blindness or vision impairments
• Cardiac problems
• Deafness or hearing impairments
• Mental retardation
• Muscular dystrophy
• Respiratory problems
• Stroke
All farmers, ranchers, farm workers, and members of their families qualify for AgrAbility benefits, even if an injury was from a nonfarm-related incident.
