Where can I find a consistent source of dairy calves?

Check with local dairy farmers in your area. Most are willing to sell bull calves after three to seven days if they are not raising them out themselves. If you are willing to buy all their bull calves and pick them up once or twice a week and can pay a competitive price, you should be successful. The "going rate" you might be asked to pay is likely to vary from year to year depending on the strength of the beef market and the demand for calves.
