How can I increase the milk production of my cows and get the cows to gain more weight?

Increasing dry matter intake and forage quality are the best ways to increase nutrient intake and gain body weight assuming the cows have the genetic ability to respond. This assumes that you have worked with your nutritionist, tested your forages, and balanced a ration for your cows.
