What is the difference between the digestibility of stearic acid and palmitic acid in cows?

Research results vary, but digestibility of both long-chain saturated fatty acids should be similar as long as adequate unsaturated fatty acids are present in the diet. Some data indicate that stearic acid may be about 5% lower than palmitic acid.
