No. Whole cottonseed is mixed with the other feed ingredients without processing.

Dave Fischer, Extension Dairy Educator, University of Illiois - Illini DairyNET

For operations that can use whole seed in bulk, there is not really any significant benefit in nutrient digestibility from crushing fuzzy cottonseeds that would not be offset by other factors such as cost of the extra handling and the increased potential for rancidity. For those using processed cottonseeds to improve handling characteristics on their operations, our data show that pelleted seeds have comparable effectiveness of fiber and support high milk production. However, the increased ruminal availability of lipid might depress milk fat percentage if the pelleted seeds are offered at high levels or included with other sources of unsaturated fat.
