Should I include buffers in the diet of cows producing 65 lb milk/day, 3.8% fat, receiving corn silage, soybean meal, cottonseed, citrus pulp, and ground corn grain on a total mixed ration?

Yes. We would recommend sodium bicarb at 0.75% of the total mixed ration (TMR) dry matter even though milk yield is not especially high because corn silage is the only source of forage in the diet.
