Maintain an accurate inventory of and control access to farm fuels, lubricants, and hydraulic fluids. Maintain locked access to fuel storage tanks, both above and below ground. Also, maintain locked access to storage buildings containing lubricants and hydraulic fluids. Be sure keys are kept in a secure location. Keep an up-to-date inventory through accurate record keeping. Compare re-fueling records to your use records and watch for discrepancies.
