There are several avenues of potential help:
* your local chamber of commerce and/or someone you meet through the network you develop when attending these meetings
* your local Small Business Development Center or Vo-Tech school
* your local Cooperative Extension Service office
* through the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)
* perhaps someone from your support group including your banker, accountant, etc.
* a mentor who might come from any of the above sources or through a reference provided by any of the above
* a family member.

Having someone with whom you can discuss your ideas and who can offer insight and ideas is often of great help to a business owner.
