Are there differences in the P-Index from state to state?

Yes, states have developed state-specific guidance for the Phosphorus (P) Index. You can check with your state or county Natural Resources Conservation (NRCS) office.

One source of information for states that have published their index online is State Specific Manure Nutrient Information which may list P-index information for your state.
