How do I know if my baby has an ear infection?

If you are ever concerned that your child is sick or has an ear infection contact your child's doctor as soon as possible. You know your baby better than anyone else and chances are if you feel that something wrong with your baby you are probably correct. Watch for signs of an ear infection. If your baby tugs at his ears or has a cold lasting several days, it may be an ear infection. Ear infections can affect a child’s hearing. Being sick a lot affects your baby’s growth and learning. If your baby acts, looks or feels like he is sick, please call the doctor or nurse right away.
