The Farm Financial Standards Council (FFSC) created standards for the uniform creation of farm financial statements. Motivated by a need for consistent records in the farm crisis of the 1980s, it developed and published standards for records as well as guidelines for analyzing performance. The standards are available at www.ffsc.org.
