A yield map is a pictorial representation of a crop performance on cropland or fields. When a farmer measures his/her crop yield, he/she can take those numbers and information and turn it into geographical data by a process called georeferencing. The geographical data takes the form of a map, which helps the farmer to see how his/her crops are growing.
