I had my yard soil analyzed for planting St. Augustine grass, but have decided to add mondo grass accents. What amendments do I add to the soil in the area where the mondo grass will be planted? Will they be different from the turf recommendations?

Barring any deficiencies seen on your soil test report, it is not necessary to add any amendments to the soil to successsfully grow mondo grass. One major difference that should be considered is that St. Augustine turfgrass is best if grown in full sun, while mondo grass accent plants do better in shade to partial shade conditions.
