Are there any cherry trees, besides the Prunus variety, that will grow well and produce edible cherries in northern Minnesota?

All cherry trees and shrubs are Prunus, just as all apple trees are Malus. Prunus is the genus to which all cherry species belong. The fruit tree zones on the link below are opposite of what we use for perennial plants and trees. Northern Minnesota is in fruit Zone 4. Drilea and Orient are both hardy sour cherries in your zone. There are no sweet (Bing type) cherries hardy in Minnesota. Please take the time to read about what will be required. You will have to have two or more varieties for cross pollination.
