How long can PRRS virus persist in manure or lagoons?

PRRS virus, a Parvovirus, can persist in feces and lagoon effluent, according to one study, for a few weeks; and the days to reach 90% inactivation or death of all infective Parvoviruses can range between 20 and 30 days.
