How do I decide where in the landscape to place plants with high-water or low-water needs? I live in Colorado.

First you need to observe your property and notice where water naturally pools or drains during and after a rain.  Secondly you need to decide where you may place irrigation systems.  Answers to these questions will guide you to proper plant placements.  For more details, please see the Colorado PlantTalk script "Water Considerations."
