Sunset hyssop has become a landscape standard for xeriscape gardens since its introduction in 1997 by Plant Select. Sunset hyssop begins to bloom in mid summer and will continue to add color to the garden into the fall. The flowers are a subtle bicolor combination of soft orange and lavender that blends easily with other late blooming plants such as blue mist spirea, black-eyed susan and ornamental grasses.
