Are Autumn Blaze maples considered weak wooded and easy to break in winter snows? I live in Colorado.

Yes, the Autumn Blaze maple is a soft-wooded tree and can sustain breakage from a snow storm. It isn't as soft as a silver maple but still can be damaged.
