Colorado State University hasĀ a spray guide for stone fruits. Follow its recommendations to avoid this type of problem. If it is the end of the growing season, spray soapy water or insecticide soap on them. There will not be adequate time between application and harvest for anything else; otherwise, any chemical will still be on the fruit when you pick it if you spray at the end of the season.
