I use sawdust for bedding in my stall and spread it with manure on my hay fields. I understand that sawdust is very acidic. How much lime would I have to add to neutralize this?

Wood-based bedding products do have an effect on soil pH and generally require additional lime to bring pH back to a productive range. The best ways to tell your liming needs are to soil test your pastures every three to four years and lime and fertilize accordingly. If you lime your stalls during cleaning, that will add some lime equivalent to your spreaded bedding too, but you still need to soil test for the most accurate estimate of soil pH.
