Do I need to lift weights to be fit?

You don't have to lift weights to be fit. However, adding some form of strength exercises such as push-ups or using stretch bands is important. Being fit means you have a strong heart and lungs, strong muscles, and flexibility. A good fitness routine will include different forms of exercise so that you can address all of the areas of fitness.
