I have a four-horse hot walker and plan to build a round pen around it. How much room should I leave from the end of the arms before I begin the round pen fence?

If you have a regular horse walker with arms, you should set the outside fence for the round pen 2 feet from the end of the arm. If you are using a free-flow horse exerciser that has panels in front and behind the horse, the round pen fence needs to be right next to the edge of the panel so the horse cannot go between the panel and the fence.
