I am worried my baby is going to be overweight. Is it O.K. to offer fat-free or 2 percent milk when I wean her from breast milk?

This will depend on the age that you wean your baby from breast milk. If your baby is under one year old, you will want to provide her with expressed breast milk or an infant formula. If your baby is over one year of age, you can begin weaning to cow's milk. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends 2 percent milk from 12 months to 2 years of age and then a switch to 1 percent milk at 2 years. Always check with your health care provider or pediatrician to be sure your baby fits the guidelines.
