If a horse's mane grows down below its eyes, will it harm the horse's vision?

A forelock growing down below the horse's eyes will not cause any eye problems unless the forelock gets dirt or burrs in it that might scratch the eye. A neat, clean, and well-groomed forelock will not cause any eye problems and in fact may help to decrease the irritation of pesky face flies.
