Is it important for adults to limit the amount of TV we watch?

Research shows that the more adults watch, the heavier they are. Inactive time in front of the TV means fewer calories burned and bigger waistlines. In addition, adults are important role models for children for so many behaviors, including television viewing. We as adults set the standard for the acceptable recreational use of TV, video games, and computers.
