Screen time is amount of time spent in front of a screen—TV, video game, or computer. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends 2 hours a day screen time for children and youth and no screen time for children under 2 years of age. Increased screen time is related to body weight. The more you watch, the heavier you are. This holds true for youth and adults.
