If your teens are eating plenty of fruits, don’t be overly concerned about their vegetable consumption. Most fruits and vegetables are good sources of vitamins C and A and are rich in fiber. You might ask for your teens' input as to what to try, or you could turn over the keys to the car with a list to shop for their choice of vegetables for a few meals. Try a veggie platter with a low-fat dip. Continue to offer them a variety of choices of vegetables at mealtime, and encourage consumption of both fruits and vegetables. Let them be a part of the decision for family meals.
