What's the best way to propagate Plumeria?

Plumeria are tropical plants hardy in plant zones 10a - 11. Propagating Frangipani (another name for Plumeria) is easy:
*Choose a thick stem about a foot long and cut it off the mother plant. (It will bleed a white sap.)
*Remove all but the top few leaves.
*Wait until the cut end dries, then slide this stem well into a 1- or 3-gallon container of potting soil.
*Keep the plant in partial shade, making sure the soil stays moist.

When new leaves begin to grow, new roots are forming, and it is ready to move out into brighter light conditions. When new stems are formed with new growth, it may be planted in the landscape or moved into a larger container. See the articles:
