How much TV is too much for my children?

Last Updated: May 28, 2009

The minimum recommended amount of physical activity your child should be getting daily is 60 minutes. If your child is not getting that amount of exercise, then he or she may be spending too much time in front of the TV. The National Institute of Health recommends keeping screen time to less than two hours per day. Anything over that is considered too much.
