Schools and hospitals are ares that need to pay careful attention to pest management because of the sensitivity of their occupants. IPM is a better choice and includes multiple compatible tactics such as, monitoring, pest exclusion, sanitary practices and pesticide treatments (if necessary). IPM has been shown to provide better, safer, pest management. When pesticides are used, they are used in a more practical and site-specific way.
