How do you determine the current value of your EE savings bonds?

You can use the savings bond wizard tool on the Treasury Direct Web site (www.treasurydirect.gov/indiv/tools/tools_savingsbondwizard.htm) to determine the current value of previously purchased EE bonds (or I bonds). You will need to have the face value of the bonds, their date of purchase, and their serial numbers handy to enter into the spreadsheet. The savings bond wizard will calculate their current value, and you can update it periodically.
