Good sources of protein for goats include alfalfa hay (early bloom), red clover, crimson clover, white clover, mimosa browse, linseed meal solvent, cow peas, peanut meal, peanut skins, safflower meal (dehulled, solubles), sudangrass (fresh, immature), sunflower meal, sunflower meal with hulls, soybean meal (solvent 44% protein), wheat shorts, wheat midds, aeschynomene, perennial peanut, dallisgrass, ryegrass, and cottonseed meal.
