One to two months prior to the breeding season:

• Check FAMACHA score.
Two weeks prior to the breeding season:
• Deworm the does.
• Vaccinate the does with C&D tetanus toxoid.
• Trim the goats' hooves.
• Give an injection of Vitamin E/Se to the does to increase ovulation rate (optional).
On breeding day:
• Record breeding date, body condition scores, and body weight (optional).
• Place the buck with the herd for two estrous cycles (42 days).
Mid-pregnancy:
• Give second injection of vitamin E/Se to aid in embryonic development (optional).
Last six weeks of pregnancy:
• Vaccinate does with C&D tetanus six weeks prior to kidding (optional).
