This issue is a very important one for producers to consider. If the product or service does not meet the quality standard expected by the customer, it is unlikely that customer will return to your business again. Repeat customers form the backbone of most small businesses, so you cannot afford to lose one to poor quality, particularly since it is costly and time consuming to find and "recruit" a new customer. Not only can one bad experience cause the current customer to purchase a similar product from a competitor, but also that unsatisfied customer will often tell several people about his or her bad experience(s) and turn other potential customers away from your business as well.
