In the warmest regions of the U.S. eucalyptus is a fast growing, high volume, genus of tree that is ideal bioenergy feedstock. Poplar hybrids, sweetgum, black locust, willow, and pine are promising in colder climates. This FAQ was adapted from Wood to Energy and used with permission.
