eXtension offers you a calendar of upcoming events across the United States (this is a relatively new service, so it may not have many entries at this time). To see if there is a budgeting class in your area, go to www.extension.org; the calendar is located toward the bottom of the page.

Check with your local Cooperative Extension Service office, which will likely be located in the county seat (the community where the county courthouse is located) of your home county. In the telephone book, it may be listed along with the various county offices, under university extension, or as your state's land-grant university.

Other sources for money management classes include community education classes through your local school district or the local division of family services office.
