An oven or stove used for cooking is not designed to be used for home heating. If electric stoves or ovens are used for home heating, the heating elements may overheat, burn-out, and damage the stove or oven. If gas stoves or ovens are used for home heating, the equipment may produce excessive combustion by-product gases such as carbon monoxide, which can be deadly. Using an oven or stove for heating a home or area is not recommended.
