This is followed by water heating (12%), lighting (11%), computer and electronics (9%), appliances (9%), refrigeration (8%), and other (8%). These numbers represent averages. Your situation may be slightly different, depending on the age of your home, the efficiency of your equipment and appliances, and the behaviors of those living in your home.
