Every state has its own regulations for interstate animal movement, which is controlled by the Office of the State Veterinarian.

A valid health certificate is required for the animal(s) (being moved) showing that the animals:

Have been inspected by a permitted veterinarian.

Are not infected with nor have come into contact with animals carrying a communicable disease.

Information on interstate animal movement regulations and getting a valid animal health certificate can be obtained from a local veterinarian or the Office of the State Veterinarian.
