Because of the steepness of pitch, height, and poor footing, some roofs may be too dangerous for most homeowners to work on. In these instances it may be necessary to contact a roofing company to remove dead needles and leaves. Professional roofers usually possess the necessary equipment and experience to work safely on these types of roofs. Installing rain gutter covers may reduce the maintenance requirement. They are available through rain gutter contractors and home improvement stores.
