Camel crickets are medium to large-sized crickets that congregate in dark moist places. They are wingless and have strong jumping legs. They have extremely long antennae, and combined with their long slender legs, can sometimes appear spider-like. Several different species are referred to as camel crickets. Many of them have a light to dark brown mottled appearance. Camel crickets can become pests when they come inside to look for food and shelter.
