It is a good idea to consult with an attorney from the area where a deceased person lived when you are setting up an estate account. The attorney can advise you on various matters such as how to title the account and about the process of preparing an inventory of the deceased's assets and debts. In addition, you may also want to hire an accountant to prepare tax returns for the estate. It is quite common for executors of estates to get professional help where needed.
