Should I contract to have my planting and other fire recovery work done by someone else?

Like any other management activity, post-fire planting or other recovery work can be contracted or done personally, and the decision is based on experience, motivation, equipment, ability, and time. After a fire, the job is complicated by soot and ash, which is another do-it-yourself consideration. If you are able to do the job effectively, then the decision may be based on finances.
