Do I still have a current or future property risk from fire?

Many factors can increase or decrease fire risk after a wildfire has burned on a property. Some fires leave a lot of unburned residue, including dead, standing trees, and after fire, regrowth can be robust. You can never assume that another, perhaps more destructive, fire will not happen. Property owners should do an annual fire-risk assessment and take appropriate actions to reduce their risk.
