Pest vulnerable areas (PVA's) are sites where pests are likely to occur or cause damage, often due to availability of food, water or shelter. In schools, these include loading docks, dumpster areas, kitchens, food storerooms, cafeterias, teachers‘ lounges, mechanical rooms and custodial closets.
