Monitoring is the regular, ongoing inspection to look for pests, evidence of pest presence and presence of conditions that may encourage pest infestations. Monitoring is also undertaken to provide accurate information that can help determine whether pest management actions are effective. As such, monitoring information should be carefully recorded on data sheets, logs, building maps, etc. for future comparison or reference.
