Who should be on our School IPM Committee?

Your School IPM Committee should be a group designated to address pest management issues on an ongoing basis. The committee should include representation from all segments of the school community, including administration, staff, parents, local county agent, pest management professional and interested community members. The role of the committee is to formulate IPM policy and plans, and provide oversight and ongoing decision-making, incorporating input from all interested parties.

The committee should designate a chairperson and this person should be able to communicate between school district staff and community members.
