There are a number of ways to protect your goats, but none can be considered easy or 100% effective. Be sure to consider the techniques in relationship with the laws of your state. For additional information, see these publications on Predator Management and Bobcat. One technique not listed in these publications is the use of guard animals. While most guard animals are used to protect flocks from coyotes, it is possible that the guard animals would protect against bobcats as well.
