A facility that wants to burn a variety of fuel types must be designed for those fuels or a mix of fuel types. Such a designed facility must be able to handle and burn the variety of fuels effectively, efficiently, and within regulated emission standards. Facilities designed for multiple fuel types will also have specific parameters for combustion and fuel mixing that must be followed to insure proper results.
